Departuee dates:

You meet at Johannesburg International Airport at 16:30 for your flight to Frankfurt (Flight LH 573: departing 19:20, arriving 05:30) and subsequent flight to Zagreb (Flight LH 3482: departing 12:05; arriving 13:30)

Day 1 - Arrival in Zagreb

Upon your arrival at Zagreb Airport and after the usual immigration and customs, you are met by your English-speaking guide and transferred to your hotel.  The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Dinner and overnight: Hotel Laguna, Zabgreb

Day 2   - Zagreb –  Plitvice

After breakfast at your hotel you undertake morning city tour of Zagreb including the fortified Upper Town, the city`s historical center, St Mark`s church with its mutlicolored roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theater and University.

In the afternoon you depart for Plitvice

Dinner and overnight:  Hotel Macola, Plitvice

Day 3 - Plitvice

After breakfast at your hotel you tour the Plitvice Lakes National Park on UNESCO`s List of World Natural Heritage comprising sixteen lakes, each at a different level, joined in a series of cascading waterfalls and surrounded by dense wood - a natural phenomenon of a rare and unique beauty.

Dinner and overnight: Hotel Macola, Plitvice.

Day 4 - Plitvice –  Trilj –  Dubrovnik

Breakfast at your hotel.  You then depart for Dubrovnik driving via Trilj and along the valley of the Cetina River.

Dinner and overnight: Hotels Ivka or Tirena or Petka or Lero or similar, Dubrovnik.

Day 5 - Dubrovnik

Breakfast at your hotel.

A full day ay leisure to explore this fascinating Medievel walled city included on UNESCO`s List of World Cultural Heritage.

Day 6 - Dubrovnik –  Trogir

Breakfast at your hotel.  Then a morning sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik visiting, inter alia, the Franciscan monastery with Europe`s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector`s Palace and the Cathedral.

In the afternoon you depart for Trogir driving along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta. Arrival to Trogir, a picturesque medieval town, where we visit the Cathedral of St Lawrence.

Dinner and overnight: Hotel Medena, Trogir

Day 7 - Trogir –  Split –  Zadar

Breakfast at your hotel.  Then a morning sightseeing tour of Split covering the Diocletian` Palace, also on UNESCO`s List of World Cultural Heritage, with Peristyle, Jupiter`s Temple and the Cathedral.

You then depart for Zadar.

Dinner and overnight : Hotels Donat or Pinija or Kolovare or Funimation, Zadar.

Day 8 - Zadar –  Zagreb

Breakfast at your hotel.  Then a morning sightseeing tour of Zadar including visits to the Roman Forum and St Donatus Church, a magnificent monument of Romanesque Architecture.

In the afternoon you return to Zagreb.

Dinner and overnight: Hotel Laguna, Zagreb.

Day 9        Zagreb –  Frankfurt – Johannesburg

Breakfast at your hotel.  Time this morning for last minute shopping.

At noon you are transferred to Zabreb Airport for your flight to Frankfurt (Flight LH 3483: departing 14:10, arriving 15:40) and subsequent flight to Johannesburg (Flight LH 572: departing 22:40, arriving 08:50 the following day).
